I want to know how to do my hair and makeup for my farewell dance. can anyone help me?

i was thinking of scrunching my hair so its curled and i wanted to do something wowish to it. i have a salmon pink dress with like a silver pin. i want to stand out in the middle of all the people. can u plz help me???
