Considering becoming a nurse...?

I am considering becoming a nurse...but i just have a few questions for all you nurses out there...do you become ill frequently as a result from working the a hospital? Was the idea of human bodily fluids as issue for you in the begining? Are the rewards worth the sadness of deaths? Do you have any suggestions, comments, or tips regarding becoming a nurse?
